About Us
Board & Brewed opened at 75 York Road, Dún Laoghaire as Dublin's first dedicated board game café, built around one simple idea: in an age of endless scrolling, the best evenings still happen around a table — with a hot drink, a good game, and people you can look in the eye.
Today the wall holds more than 700 board games and it grows every month. We pour speciality coffee from Green Ocean Coffee Roasters, bake pizza fresh on site, and run our own wine bar — Volume 13.5% — in the room next door. We're also Ireland's only official PSA dealer for trading-card grading.
Dave, our founder, kept watching the same thing happen at house parties: the games came out at 11pm, everyone said "why don't we do this more often", and nobody did. The bars were too loud, the cafés closed at six, and nowhere had the games. Board & Brewed is the place that didn't exist.
